Idaho QSO Party SOAPBOX comments
Where is everybody? Been calling CQ 80 and 40M, CQ No Joy. Jerry KD6WKY

This was my first shot at a contest log, hope I got it right! 73, KB1WAW

Good Day… Conditions pretty rough but made a few contacts… 73, Curt VE3ZN

Operated fixed from Ada County in Idaho QRP CW only. 73, Jim KK7A

Thanks for QSO party, band not very good here. Hope its better next year. 73, Sandra WA1SAY

Enjoyed a short but fun effort on the IDAHO QSO party. 73, Gary W7FSI, Custer County ID

Here is my (tiny) log for the 2019 Idaho QSO Party. N4KB

Thanks for a good time! Saul, W3WHK

Poor conditions. Contest needs to be 12 hours. 24 too long. Had fun 73 Don KA7T

Thanks for putting on the event. 73, Amos KT7WW

N7ZUF and K7TQ put the Idaho DX Association club call of NI7DX on the air in eight northern Idaho counties.
We had planned to operate both while in motion and stopped, but could only operate while stopped.
Thanks to everyone who contacted us or tried to. Full story and pictures are at
https://sites.google.com/site/randyk7tq/home/2019-idaho-qso-party DE Randy K7TQ

Thanks for the Idaho QSO Party and all your support. 73, Robert N7QM

Log for club station AB7HP is attached. This year we wanted to do something different. Rather than
a temporary station in a park, we operated high power from a club members station in Horseshoe Bend,
Boise county. Fun time for all club members involved. Thank you to everyone who helps organize this
Idaho event and checks logs. 73, Tom KD7VZW

Attached is the K7SI club station log file for the Idaho QSO Party from last weekend. We had fun but
few contacts due to the poor band conditions and it seemed like there were few stations looking for Idaho.
I wonder if the web page you had on the time change scared off stations. It will be interesting to see how
other stations did. Thanks for putting the contest on. It gives us a reason to go camping and setup the
tent for the week end. 73, John KD7HGS for K7SI

Only one contact, but it might make someone a winner in a close race! 73, Lee KT4LS

Thanks for the fun. Doug, AC8WC

Fun contest! 73 de Drew K9CW

Sorry I didn't find more stations. 73 Tom W1TO

Hi All, Good time hunting: thanks to everyone. 73, Eldon - W1END

SOAPBOX: Elevated 19' wire vertical @ 29' + 3 counterpoise wires @ 10', Allan AB5XM

SOAPBOX: I worked everyone in this QSO Party that I heard and that wasn't many folks. Not very good
conditions. Maybe I'll have better luck with Idaho next year. 73 Tom, KV8Q

SOAPBOX: Very little time and unfortunately, little heard. Joe, AA8TA

20m was the only band from the east coast. Bill, W2UDT (QTH NJ)

Did not get to operate as long as I wanted, but was able to make a few contacts. Thanks for letting me
be part of the fun. Jack, KD5ILA

Tough condx! Bad QSB, signals there one minute, gone the next. Probably resulted in some broken QSOs.
Still fun! Bob NA2X

SOAPBOX: K3/10 driving a Ten Tec 405 amp to 50 watts output to wire antennas. 73, C U next time.
Dan KE0TT (QTH MN)

SOAPBOX: This is another WQ6X portable operation from W7AYT's QTH in Concord. Most of the time was spent
running the Russian DX contest, while HOPING ID stations would activate new counties. As you can see,
the "pipeline" from Concord to Idaho was nearly empty. Wassup with that? Look for a writeup on this
weekend's events at: http://WQ6X.Blogspot.Com DE Ron WQ6X

SOAPBOX: Rig was FTdx5000 and Butternut vertical. Yes, there is activity on cw other than KA7T. Thanks guys.
73, Eldon W1END
